  • Description

A previously unexplored perspective of the famous portrait of Bianca.

This exhibition features work by The Big Eyed Ears participant artists inspired by the painting of Bianca, the Patroness of Heavenly Harmony by William Holman Hunt, which is one of the gems of the fine art collection at Worthing Museum.

Facilitated by Jo Telling of Superstar Arts, the group explored issues around perception, communication, trust and vulnerability between the learning disabled and non-learning disabled communities. Through this project learning disabled people are provided with the opportunity to communicate their thoughts and feelings to their local and wider community. It offers a previously unexplored perspective of the famous portrait of Bianca.

Please Note All Worthing Museum and Gallery's Exhibitions are free. No need to book, just turn up. Donations are gladly accepted, these are used to support WTM's work to enrich people’s lives through arts and heritage. You can donate online here or via our donation boxes at the Museum.
