Worthing Museum and Gallery are exhibiting work by learning-disabled artists alongside the work of Henny Beaumont, artist in residence for the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD) and Respond UK, a charity providing psychotherapy for people with learning disabilities.
The exhibition looks at the trauma experienced by people with learning disabilities and at the same time hopes to address the lack of recognition given to these all too often “invisible people.”
The exhibition also includes printed ceramics specially created by artists from Superstar Arts and Rocket Artists Brighton in partnership with Henny Beaumont and ceramicist Brigit Conolly.
Invisible People runs from Saturday 9 July – Sunday 30 October 2022. For more information on the exhibition click here.
This is a private event. Once you have selected your tickets you will need to enter your promo code in order to book.
