When Algernon discovers that his friend, Ernest, has created a fictional brother for whenever he needs a reason to escape dull country life, Algernon poses as the brother, resulting in ever increasing confusion.
Oscar Wilde penned his most popular play here in Worthing whilst staying with relatives. There is even a character named Jack Worthing!
Worthing Film Club members can attend for FREE! This is in addition to the usual WFC screenings as this screening is part of the Worthing festival, donations to the maintenance of the Film Club are greatly welcomed. Non-members can buy tickets in the usual method.
