Create your own vintage style half hat

Put your creative skills to the test as you learn how to design and create your very own sculptural half hat. This workshop is ideal for those who are attending vintage style events such as Goodwood Revival as you will get to leave with a wearable headpiece.

The half hat was a popular post war millinery design and, as the name suggests, only covers part of the head. In the 1940’s and 50’s hat were designed with the main purposes of adding variety to your wardrobe, lifting spirits and even cover unwashed hair!

Materials will be provided. This session is suitable for all abilities, only simple hand stitching will be required. The session is taught by our West Sussex milliner, Isabella Josie.
