We’re delighted to be delivering free workshops and activities in Worthing as part of West Sussex County Council’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) scheme.
These activities are open to children aged 7 – 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals (FSM) and have a HAF ID number. If you have lost your HAF ID, please contact your child/children’s school or email HAF@westsussex.gov.uk. or all HAF activities, you’ll drop children off with our team and collect them at the end of the session. Our staff are DBS checked and we have approved safeguarding procedures in place. Please feel free to contact our community engagement team for more information: community@wtm.uk.

Cinema and Circus Day
10:00 – 12:30
Day one commences with the highly anticipated, Summer animated film: Despicable Me 4
No need to bring snacks, each child gets a small popcorn and soft drink to enjoy the film with.
12:30 – 13:00
A hot lunch will be provided by Proto Restaurant Group. Complete with fun nutrition based activities.
13:00 – 14:00
Led by a professional circus artist and instructor, children will get the opportunity to try out something totally new.
Kate Wright Poi Passion Circus will be running a workshop covering 5 pieces of equipment over 1 hr, along with the history of the equipment. This is an interactive education workshop where everyone involved will learn about the artistic world of circus skills.

Join a workshop inspired by the film INSIDE OUT 2 at Worthing Museum. We will be making brightly coloured Masks based on the Emotion Characters in the film. What character will you choose? Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear or Disgust. This workshop will be fun, creative and a chance to make an amazing Mask to show off to your friends and family.

We will be making fearless adventurer items to wear to the Sam Wu film. Not forgetting the sidekick snake or the mischievous pet cat! Come and join in the fun and dare to wear to the show after the workshop.
13:00 – 13:30

In the afternoons, the stage comes alive with the performance of “Sam Wu is Not Afraid of Ghosts.” Adapted from Katie and Kevin Tsang’s best-selling book, this stage rendition follows Sam Wu, who, despite claiming not to be scared, embarks on a mission to prove his fearlessness as a space adventurer. Join Sam and his daring pet snake as they face fears and confront the Ghost King in this brand-new adventure. It promises to be an exhilarating finale to an unforgettable day.
