How to celebrate Worthing Pride 2024

This Pride season at WTM we’re taking a look at what you can do this Summer to join in with the revelry.

Worthing Pride will take place Friday 5th and Saturday 6th July, with a fabulous line-up at Steyne Gardens. Pride events are important for our community to express the diversity and joys of queer culture. Find out how you can join in here.

What's On this Pride Season

See special Pride screenings at the Connaught Cinema

No celebration is complete without a hand-picked selection of screenings from our very own film expert James Tully. This year we’re covering as many genres as we can – musical, erotica, thriller, drama and comedy. Make sure to catch some of these classics on the big screen throughout Pride Month.

Get some laughs at the Pavilion

Featuring the best in established and upcoming acts from the community on the UK comedy circuit. This night is all about giving acts and audiences alike a fun and friendly place to express themselves, kick back, have a laugh and a good time in an inclusive and welcoming comedy club environment.

Attend Worthing Pride events

The official Worthing Pride event is not to be missed. Running Friday 5th and Saturday 6th July, this year’s line-up includes supreme pop-duo Boyzlife (Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian McFadden), Drag Race UK superstar Danny Beard, and the legendary Cheeky Girls. It promises to be a weekend full of family friendly events and shared community joy.

We hope there’s something for everyone in Worthing this Pride season. But if you’re eager for more, take a look back at last year’s exhibition at the Museum, Out Of The Artist and our Stories of Pride from 2022.

If you, or someone you know is LGBTQI+ and could benefit from support, there are many local organisations to help. Take a look at Mind Out’s Worthing-based Community Peer Support Groups, or Allsorts Youth Project for local family support.
