Everything you've ever wanted to know about the Connaught!

Sunday 4th August from 10am - 12pm.

As part of our 110th Birthday celebrations, we'll be hosting an open morning on Sunday 4th August from 10am - 12pm.

Come on down to meet the team at the Connaught, the film programmer, projectionists and volunteers. We'll be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the cinema as well as showing you behind the scenes. Learn about the history of the building from it's opening as the Picturedrome in July 1914 through to its current modern day. Our staff will lead small groups on a little tour behind the screen and on the stage. We can also take you on a tour of the projection booth so you can see the cinema technical equipment.

We are showing loads of incredible films as part of our Birthday celebrations - Including Blade Runner, Gone With The Wind, Moulin Rouge and more!
