WTM is proud to be a part of the Warm Spaces Project.

We’re happy to announce that WTM will be joining the Warm Spaces project again this winter, with support from Adur & Worthing Councils. The cost-of-living crisis continues to affect millions across the UK, with many reporting they are unable to switch on the heating. We believe everyone should have a warm and welcoming space to go to this winter, which is why we’re joining a network of community organisations, libraries, businesses and other groups across the UK who have opened their doors to provide exactly that.

You can find Warm Spaces at Fraser’s Bar in the Connaught Theatre and at Worthing Museum and Gallery. Available on selected dates please see below for further details:

Worthing Museum and Gallery From 1st December 2023 – w/c 9th February 2024 Worthing Museum and Art Gallery will be available as a Warm Space with exhibitions and displays for every age. We even have a book corner! The venue will be open on the following days/times. Free hot drinks, baked goods and activity packs will be available on Thursdays, 3pm – 8pm. On Thursday evenings we will also have representatives from different charities and support groups to offer advice and raise awareness. Keep an eye out on this page and our social media for who will be coming and when.

Worthing Museum : Chapel Rd, Worthing BN11 1HP. Please note that the museum will be closed for Christmas from 5pm on Saturday 23rd December 2023 and reopen at 10am on Wednesday 3rd January 2024. 

Fraser’s Bar in the Connaught Theatre From Monday 8th January 2024 until Monday 11th March 2024 Fraser’s Bar – Upstairs in the Connaught Theatre will be open on Mondays between 3pm – 8pm, with free hot drinks, Baked goods, activity packs, books, board games and a kindness rack (with free warm clothes that anyone is welcome to take). On Monday evenings we will also have representatives from different charities and support groups to offer advice and raise awareness. Keep an eye out on this webpage for who will be coming and when. We will also be distributing free cinema tickets for Monday evenings and Saturday morning pictures through partnerships with local charities and advice giving community organisations who directly support those in need.
