About Circa Waves

Liverpool indie favourites Circa Waves return to the stage this autumn, performing live in Worthing on Friday 24 October 2025 – the official release date of their brand-new album Death & Love Pt. 2. This special one-off South East show is part of the NHS My Music concert series, raising vital funds for NHS treatment, care and research.

Following the critically acclaimed Death & Love Pt. 1, released earlier in 2025, this second instalment completes the picture. Written by frontman Kieran Shudall in the wake of a life-threatening heart condition, both albums were born from an outpouring of creativity, reflection, and survival. Shudall describes Pt. 2 as the more optimistic record – one that celebrates love, life and the joy of getting through it all.

Featuring brand new single Cherry Bomb, along with tracks like Lost in the Fire, Stick Around, Sunbeams, and Wave Goodbye, the album offers a fresh burst of euphoric indie pop, emotional honesty, and cathartic guitar energy. Recorded at RAK Studios and a friend’s studio in Finsbury Park, it was produced by Shudall himself and engineered by Matt Wiggins (Adele, Lana Del Rey, Glass Animals).

Since forming in 2013, Circa Waves have become one of the UK’s most beloved indie bands, known for their breakout hits T-Shirt Weather and Stuck in My Teeth, and acclaimed albums including Young Chasers, Sad Happy, and Never Going Under. Their sound blends upbeat guitar hooks with post-punk energy, introspection, and irresistible choruses.

This concert marks a new chapter for the band and offers fans a chance to hear the full power of Death & Love live – on the day of its release.
