A cinematic evening of contemporary dance in partnership with South East Dance

Join us for a night of contemporary dance including the premiere of Transparent, the new film by Siobhan Davies in collaboration with David Hinton and Hugo Glendinning.

At the heart of Transparent are the reflections of dancer and choreographer Siobhan Davies as she unravels the complex processes that underpin a life's work in dance.

There will be a live streamed Q&A followed by Acts of Memory, a 45 minute compilation of short films curated by Claudia Kappenberg. These films explore different choreographic and cinematic approaches to remembering the past and bringing it into a dialogue with the present.

This event is part of South East Dance’s inaugural Brighton Screendance Festival.
