Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of this classic dance film

In 1973, Rudolph Nureyev directed, choreographed and starred in The Australian Ballet’s acclaimed film of Don Quixote with cinematography by academy award winner Geoffrey Unsworth (Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey and Bob Fosse’s Cabaret).

To celebrate this 50th Anniversary cinema release, audiences can experience for the first time the remastered film on the big screen preceded by a special documentary on the making of this landmark ballet film that according to Dance Magazine is “The finest full length dance film ever.”
