This film had a tremendous reception at Venice film festival with a standing ovation that brought Dwayne Johnson to tears. Oscar buzz is already building for this serious role that might finally bring the actor the awards he deserves. Emily Blunt is also exceptional. This is the first film Benny Safdie has directed without his brother Josh, and it seems as though he smashed it out of the park.
