Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley star in this hilarious new comedy

A 1920s English seaside town bears witness to a dark, absurd scandal in this riotous mystery comedy. Based on a stranger-than-fiction true story! When people in Littlehampton - including conservative local Edith - begin to receive letters full of hilarious profanities, rowdy Irish migrant Rose is charged with the crime. The anonymous letters prompt a national uproar, and a trial ensues. However, as the town's women, led by Police Officer Gladys Moss, begin to investigate the crime themselves, they suspect that something is amiss and Rose might not be the culprit after all.

Our thoughts
Great to see Olivia Colman back in Worthing after she filmed here for Empire of Light. This comedy looks to be a hilarious good time at the cinema, a bit of fun with a dash of intrigue. Perfect escapism and juts what the cinema was made for.
