The WPO celebrates its 75th anniversary year in style, with this special gala concert. WPO President, Alissa Firsova, returns to play Beethoven's Emperor Piano Concerto and to conduct her own short choral work To Spring, based on the poetry of William Blake. Weber's evocative overture to Der Freichütz opens the evening, and the Worthing Choral Society with The Boundstone Chorus join the orchestra for Walton's gargantuan biblical oratorio, Belshazzar's Feast.
