About Women In The Lives Of Great Arists: Pablo Picasso

Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) had complicated relationships with many of the women in his life, often balancing multiple romantic connections at once. He either worshipped them or abused them. Many women in Picasso's life inspired his art, contributed significantly to his creative output, leaving a mark on different periods of his work. One of the most famous one in her own right (when allowed) was Dora Maar. Come and find out about this ground-breaking artist as well as the man and how his life and relationships shaped his art.

About the Speaker: Monika Lind is a retired university lecturer in Culture and Humanities Studies. With a lifelong passion for cultural history, she continues to share her wide-ranging knowledge through engaging public talks and educational events.

This event is part of WTM’s Women in the Lives of Great Artists series, celebrating the lives, legacies, and often-overlooked contributions of women throughout art history.

From 1 December 2025, a Transaction Fee will apply to all bookings made through WTM, including online, in person, and by telephone.

This fee helps cover the increased operational costs associated with processing bookings and maintaining our customer-focused ticketing systems. As public funding for the arts continues to decline, Transaction Fees are becoming commonplace across the UK cultural sector, allowing us to protect our programming, invest in digital improvements, and support exceptional customer service.

As part of their members' benefits, WTM Members and Patrons will not pay a Transaction Fee. This will automatically be applied when you log into your online account. In person, please show your digital membership card to a member of the Ticketing & Sales team if purchasing your tickets at one of our Ticket & Sales Offices.
