Highdown Goblet - Comic Workshop

Create your own comic inspired by local history

Discover the story behind the Highdown Goblet in this creative comic strip workshop led by local cartoonist Jaime. What is the goblet? Where did it come from, and why is a hare etched onto it? Use these questions as inspiration to create your own illustrated mystery.

In this hands-on session, you’ll be guided step by step to develop characters, build a setting and create a one-page comic story. Whether you are new to drawing or already enjoy illustration, this workshop offers a fun and accessible way to explore storytelling through comics.

All materials are provided. Suitable for ages 7+.

About the Tutor

Jaime is a Worthing-based cartoonist and illustrator whose work spans subjects from Winston Churchill to prehistoric discoveries. He co-created Such, Such Were the Joys: A Graphic Novel (Pluto Press) and teaches drawing skills at Brighton Metropolitan College. With extensive teaching experience, he supports learners of all abilities in developing their creative skills.
