Create your own artwork inspired by the Museum

Explore colour, creativity and technique in this hands-on Painting with Watercolour workshop for children aged 7–11.

Taking inspiration from selected works in the Museum’s collection, participants will discover how artists use watercolour to create atmosphere, texture and detail. They will then create their own artwork using watercolour paints and watercolour pencils, experimenting with colour and style.

This engaging workshop encourages creative expression, observation and artistic confidence in a relaxed and supportive environment. Perfect for young artists of all abilities, each participant will leave with their own finished piece to take home.
