Opened on 25 June 1926, this special guided tour takes place exactly 100 years later, offering a unique opportunity to explore the theatre a century on. Over the decades, the Pavilion Theatre has welcomed a wide range of performers and productions, making it a key part of Worthing’s cultural life.

This 45-minute backstage tour gives a fascinating insight into how a working theatre operates today. You’ll explore areas not usually open to the public and discover more about the theatre’s remarkable past.

Tours begin and end in the Pavilion Atrium, where the bar will be open. You are welcome to relax and enjoy the sea views after your visit. Your ticket also includes a complimentary hot drink.


Ticketholders who are attending the 11 am tour are invited to the Blue Plaque unveiling, with the tour starting at 11.30 am.
