Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle star in the much-loved 1995 BBC adaptation of Jane Austen's timeless romance. While the arrival of wealthy gentlemen sends her marriage-minded mother into a frenzy, willful and opinionated Elizabeth Bennet matches wits with haughty Mr. Darcy.
Info: This is a full-day event starting at 11am. We will have needlepoint kits for you to work on during the screening, an introduction from Ellen Cheshire exploring Jane Austen's links to Worthing and Brighton, 'zines to give out on the day, as well as the opportunity to debrief after the screening and discuss the book/show. It promises to be a great day for Austen fans.
11am - Program start
11.15am - Introductory presentation
11.35am - Episode 1 & 2
1.15pm - Interval
1.35pm - Episode 3 & 4
3.20pm - Interval
3.40pm - Episode 5 & 6
5.25pm - Finish. Move to Frasers Bar for debrief if desired.
