West Sussex Music - The Water Diviner's Tale

This is a piece for our time. The music gives an emotional voice to the science behind climate change while seeking to inspire both performers and the audience to question our relationship with the earth. Rachel Portman OBE

West Sussex Music is bringing experienced and confident choirs together with the West Sussex Youth Choirs and West Sussex Youth Orchestra to perform The Water Diviner’s Tale by Rachel Portman OBE.

Originally commissioned by the Proms, we are staging this environmentally aware performance as an oratorio for massed choir & orchestra.

The first half of the concert will also include a short programme featuring the West Sussex Youth Orchestras and Youth Choirs.
