Ida Moberg’s Sunrise Suite opens with shimmering textures and a sense of awakening, a rare and atmospheric gem. This is followed by Beethoven’s monumental Symphony No. 9, culminating in its iconic choral finale. Joined by the Brighton Festival Chorus, this exhilarating performance brings voices and orchestra together in a timeless celebration of unity, hope, and the enduring power of music.

Brighton Festival Chorus is ‘one of the country’s leading symphony choruses...’ (The Times) and considered ‘one of the jewels in the city’s musical crown’ in Brighton (The Argus). BFC performs regularly with all the major British orchestras, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra. BFC has made 10 appearances at the BBC Proms and been nominated for two Grammy awards. BFC have supported artists as diverse as Armstrong and Miller, Pete Townshend, Katherine Jenkins, Dame Edna Everage, Chris de Burgh and Alfie Boe.
