Wurlitzer Organ Concert: Michael Wooldridge

Michael Wooldridge returns to play the magnificent Worthing Wurlitzer for a concert showcasing the extraordinary versatility of this spectacular instrument.

Well known to Worthing audiences through his many concerts and tea dances, Michael regularly performs across the UK and internationally. He is also passionate about encouraging the next generation of musicians, teaching at the Rye Wurlitzer Academy and Northbrook College in Worthing.

Expect a wonderfully varied programme demonstrating the Wurlitzer’s incredible range. Michael’s repertoire spans many different musical styles, from contemporary Disney film favourites to the unmistakable sounds of the Big Band era.

A particular passion is interpreting the music of legendary names including Count Basie, Benny Goodman and Duke Ellington, bringing their distinctive arrangements to life on the theatre organ.
