It may be summer, but here at WTM we’re already gearing up for our legendary panto season. Once again, we’ve teamed up with Paul Holman Associates to bring some festive cheer and sparkle to Worthing.
We’re quivering with excitement to reveal the cast of Robin Hood: The Pantomime. The WTM panto promises jokes as sharp as an arrow and song and dance numbers that are always on point. Find out who will be stealing the show, as well as your hearts, this panto season.

Robin Hood: The Pantomime Cast

Nigel Clarke – Robin Hood
The man, the myth, the legend – the man in tights himself. Nigel will be leading the cast as the merriest of men, Robin Hood. He’ll bring effortless charm and jokes that always hit their mark.
Nigel is a TV presenter and performer. He is best known for his work on The Baby Club and The Toddler Club on CBeebies, where he leads babies and their parents in charming songs, games and a calming storytime. He is also the founder of the community, website, support group and podcast, Dadvengers. His energetic and friendly style appeals to all ages.

Janine Pardo – Maid Marian
Janine has performed in PHA pantomimes for many years. She had played princesses, queens and fairies, and now takes to the stage as Maid Marian. She’ll be found running through Sherwood Forest gracefully avoiding the schemes of the wicked Sherriff, all whilst bringing a bit of medieval girl-power to the team. We know she was maid for it!
Janine trained at Mountview and holds a Masters in Performance, Musical Theatre. A star of screen and stage, Janine has also worked as a voiceover artist for video games, as well as performing in adverts and music videos.

Darren Clewlow-Smith – Sheriff of Nottingham
Darren is returning to Worthing this year as the dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham. He’ll be snatching gold from the poor villagers and stealing scenes this winter. Robin and his Merry Men may outwit him, but his jokes are sure to hit the bullseye.
Darren has appeared in shows on both the BBC and ITV, as well as on stages all over the UK. He was nominated for UK Villain of the year at the National Panto awards for his portrayal of Captain Hook in Peter Pan at The Bridlington Spa Theatre in 2021, and also played Fleshcreep in Jack and the Beanstalk here in Worthing in 2022.

Paul Giddings – Castle Cook
Paul is returning to WTM having directed last year’s Sleeping Beauty: The Pantomime. This time he is taking to the stage having poached the role of the Castle Cook – this year’s Dame. He’s sure to turn up the heat, brew some chaotic comedy, and give a delicious performance.
Paul has been a director for over 20 years. He started his career at BBC Drama before specialising in children’s programmes for CBBC. More recently, Paul has been directing for UK and US broadcasters. Paul has also produced documentaries on comedy legends.

Darryl Carrington – Will Scarlett
With a past career in circus arts, Darryl may have hung up his leotard, but it's time for him to don his tights and swagger through Sherwood Forest with the gang. This Merry Man will be wowing audiences with his daring physical comedy and impressive juggling.
After training at the prestigious Circomedia Centre for Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre, Darryl embarked on a career that has taken him around the world. He has worked with some of the UK’s top circus companies and developed a unique style that delights audiences.

Katie Pritchard – Alana
Katie returns to Worthing for her fifth panto in a row with WTM. This year she is playing Alana, joining Robin Hood’s band of merry men. Alana is a musician who is sure to stike a chord with audiences.
Katie is an award-winning comedian, musician, actor, award-nominated writer and artist. In previous years, she has played Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk, and Fairy Amythyst in last year’s Sleeping Beauty: The Pantomime. Katie is a local favourite in Worthing, always bringing her energy, sparkle, and expressive style to her performances.
