Anna Dimitriadis
Anna recently appeared at the Royal Albert Hall for the celebration of Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday with Kirsty Young, sharing her expertise while operating a thermal camera live on stage.
She has built her career on the edge, filming big cats at close range, diving beneath Antarctic ice and coming face-to-face with some of the planet’s most formidable predators.
A wildlife cinematographer, presenter and one of the most exciting new voices in natural history television, Anna brings authenticity, curiosity and a deep respect for the natural world. Known for co-presenting BBC’s Big Cats 24/7 and the BBC One series Tiger Island, Anna is equally at home behind the camera as she is in front of it, using pioneering long-lens, underwater and drone cinematography to capture breathtaking behaviour.
Bringing a fresh perspective from the front line of wildlife filmmaking, Anna shares the realities of working in unpredictable environments, from the pressure of filming elusive species to the teamwork, preparation and resilience needed to capture nature’s most extraordinary stories.
