£50 Bronze Cauldron
Reimagining Worthing MuseumThis rare bronze cauldron was found in 1946 in Sompting. We believe it was made in around 700 BC, most likely in Ireland, and would have been used as a show of power and status by its owner during feasts and other events. Your donation will bring this cauldron to life for everyone who visits the museum with new, interactive displays.
We’d love to invite all our Bronze Cauldron donors to a tour of the museum ahead of reopening, to show you exactly how your donation has made a difference.
