Learn traditional willow weaving for ages 11–16

Discover the art of willow weaving in this hands-on workshop designed for young people aged 11–16. This beginner-friendly session introduces a traditional heritage craft, using natural willow rods to create your own handmade piece.

Working in a small, supportive group at the Museum, participants will be guided step by step through simple weaving techniques. You can choose to make a small basket, a spiral bird feeder, or a willow swift, developing practical skills while exploring your creativity with natural materials.

This relaxed workshop is ideal for beginners, offering a chance to learn new techniques at an easy pace and create something unique to take home.
