Once Upon a Twist

Once Upon A Twist…are you sitting comfortably? Then I’ll begin. 

Once upon a time in a land across the sea, there were two houses, both alike in dignity. It was a tragic tale of love and innocence, but did it have to end in tragedy? Could love not have conquered all? Perhaps love, after all, is just smoke made with the fumes of sighs. 

Once upon a time in a land far, far away, high in a tower on an island made for love, there was a prince…but maybe he didn't save the girl this time. Maybe she didn’t need saving at all. Maybe the happily ever after was not all it was cracked up to be! Not every fairytale ends with a crown. 

The Theatre Workshop, Weeny Workshop & Advanced Class students take you on a journey of twisted tales and stories you thought you knew so well. This performance is a celebration of all the hard work, dedication and passion of all The Theatre Workshop students, Managers and Tutors.
