About OPEN26

The reopening of the Museum is marked by OPEN26, our much-loved open exhibition showcasing the creativity of artists, makers and communities from across Worthing and Sussex.

This year’s exhibition has been shaped through an open selection process, featuring works by artists who live or work in Sussex. The result is a diverse and inspiring collection that reflects the talent and perspectives of our local creative community.

The theme for OPEN26 is Sustainability, exploring ideas about climate, the environment, materials, and the future. The exhibition responds to both the Museum’s recent transformation and the wider importance of environmental responsibility.

Thanks to the generous support of The National Lottery Heritage Fund, entry to OPEN26 has been free this year, making participation more accessible than ever. Donations to support the Museum’s ongoing work are welcome.

OPEN26 offers visitors the chance to experience a vibrant and thought-provoking exhibition at the heart of Worthing, celebrating creativity, community and contemporary ideas.

This year's exhibition is completly free, thanks to the generous support of The National Lottery Heritage Fund
