Connaught Theatre

  • There is level step-free access to the main foyer, accessible toilet, box office & kiosk.
  • Row S on the balcony is step-free.
  • There are four wheelchair user spaces and a free-standing chair for a companion on the balcony behind Row R.
  • Disabled parking bays are on the opposite side of the road on Union Place and in the NCP car park.

Connaught Studio

  • An accessible route to the studio requires the use of a lift.
  • Please speak to a staff member on arrival so they can advise you on how to operate the lift and guide you to the studio.
  • The width measurement for the elevator doors is 32 inches, and includes a very tight turn.

Pavilion Theatre

  • At the front of the building is a ramp that leads to the box office and main entrance. Wheelchair users and seats with step-free access are located on the balcony. An accessible toilet and the bar area are step-free.
  • Seats in the Pavilion Theatre are 520mm wide and 410mm deep.
  • There are a few wider seats available. They are 570mm wide and 410mm deep. If you require a wider seat, please request one on the booking. 
  • Toilets: An accessible toilet is located between the Atrium and the auditorium.

Pavilion Atrium

  • A step-free route into the Atrium can be found down the right of the pier, past the glass-fronted windows, where there is a push-pad door. Once inside the Atrium, the facilities are all step-free.
  • Toilets: An accessible toilet is located between the Atrium and the auditorium, and step-free gendered toilets are located in the Atrium foyer.
  • Disabled parking bays can be found along the seafront on Marine Parade. There is a drop-off point near the front of the Pavilion.

Assembly Hall

  • The Assembly Hall has level access to the main entrance, ground-floor seating area, bar, and toilets. On the left-hand side of the auditorium, there are designated wheelchair user spaces. There is no lift to the balcony. 
  • An attendance wheelchair is available for use at the Assembly Hall upon request and is kindly supplied by Clearwell Mobility.
  • Toilets: One accessible toilet is in the bar area, and there are step-free gendered toilets in the main foyer area.

Museum and Art Gallery

  • Worthing Museum and Art Gallery is fully wheelchair accessible. There are exhibitions, displays, and an education room on the ground floor, and the upstairs exhibitions and displays are accessible via the lift.
  • An attendance wheelchair is available for use at the museum upon request and is kindly supplied by Russell’s Mobility.
